As part of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, Daniele Chiari collaborated with the Embassy of Italy in Riyadh, ALMA and The Culinary Arts commission KSA to organize and lead a prestigious culinary program celebrating the excellence of Italian gastronomy.
Hosted at The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, the initiative brought together Saudi chefs in a professional cooking competition inspired by authentic Italian cuisine. Beyond the competition, the event promoted culinary education, cultural exchange, and the sharing of techniques and traditions between Italy and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The project reflected a shared commitment to strengthening gastronomic relations between the two countries while inspiring a new generation of Saudi culinary professionals through one of Italy's most respected culinary institutions.

A distinctive culinary project uniting six Italian chefs and six Saudi chefs. Together, they explored Saudi ingredients, regional traditions, and culinary identity while creating a meaningful dialogue between Italian craftsmanship and Saudi gastronomic heritage.
European Food Festival Culinary Competition

Daniele Chiari co-organised the first culinary competition for Saudi chefs held as part of the European Food Festival in Riyadh, an event organised by the Delegation of the European Union in cooperation with the Diplomatic Quarter and the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission. The 2024 festival took place at Al Kindi Plaza on 24–25 October.
During the competition, Saudi chefs were challenged to create and present their interpretation of a European dish, combining technical skill, creativity, and respect for European culinary traditions.
Developed in collaboration with Euro-Toques and the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission, and sponsored by Sitaf Food, the initiative created a meaningful platform for professional exchange between European and Saudi culinary cultures. It also supported the development and international exposure of emerging Saudi culinary talent. Sitaf Food operates in Saudi Arabia as a food and hospitality solutions company.

Invited to cook for the official closing ceremony of the International Year of Camelids 2024, held at the FAO Headquarters in Rome, Daniele Chiari created a series of contemporary dishes featuring camel meat for distinguished international delegations, ambassadors, institutional representatives, and global stakeholders.
The event celebrated the cultural, nutritional, and sustainable value of camelids while demonstrating how traditional ingredients can be elevated through modern culinary techniques. This international assignment reflected Daniele's commitment to promoting gastronomy as a bridge between cultures, sustainability, and innovation.

Invited by the Consulate General of Italy in Guangzhou, Daniele Chiari participated in the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, an international initiative celebrating the candidature of Italian Cuisine as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
He designed and prepared the official gala dinner for institutional guests, diplomats, business leaders, and international partners, showcasing authentic Italian gastronomy as a symbol of culture, tradition, and excellence. The event highlighted the global importance of Italian culinary heritage and its role in strengthening international cultural relations.
